The elephant in the room… The rust ecosystem seems to have caught on with the embedded world…

Two of the main boards discussed in this blog PI Pico and the nRF52833 (micro:bitv2) is well supported in this platform. Going forward we’ll take a good^† look at rust and eventually replace our development environment.

^† I say good look, because I fidgeted with rust a couple of years back. But soon found it to be overwhelming and never crossed the line. This time however we’ll perservere. Given the matured support for our boards of choice it is an attractive alternative…
